The gals did some awesome painting today and the fellas moved fencing, ripped out carpet, and helped move new house parents into one of the cottages.
Everyone is doing well, but is very tired. For the fellas, the first consisted of moving and spreading gravel to make a path, moving furniture out of one of the cottages, and moving a swing set. The ladies went and worked at the Palmer Home’s thrift store in the morning and painted a playground in the afternoon.
Pray for energy for today. Not only did we work hard, we also played lots of games in the gym.
Please be in prayer for our group who is serving at the Palmer Home in Columbus, MS from July 24 to 30. Pray for the hard work we’ll be doing, friendships to strengthen, that we’ll be a blessing to the Palmer Home, and that we’ll return more deeply satisfied in God.

Since the weather is looking rough for the rest of the evening, we are cancelling our park night. Look for our rescheduled date soon.
Bring a picnic dinner and join us tonight for an informal time of fellowship tonight at Kanapaha Park. We are meeting up around 6 pm.
