We hope you will join us during the 10am hour as we look at Christ in the music of Messiah.

“Messiah: A Sacred Oratorio” has been a staple of advent musical performance for over two centuries. And yet, beyond the “Hallelujah” chorus and other sections, the music remains unfamiliar to many of us. During this (brief) class, we will read and listen to the advent portions of Handel’s oratorio and consider what role a deeper understanding of this iconic music can play in our advent reflections.

There will be no Youth Worship Night at the Swamp this coming Sunday.

Also, d-groups are off this Wednesday due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

The High Schoolers’ super-fun, super-awesome event, Coast to Coast, is next Saturday, November 19th. The cost is $25 per person (scholarships available). The deadline to sign-up is Tuesday, November 15th.
The event will be from 4:45 AM to 9 PM and will take place across the great state of Florida. We’ll hit one coast for sunrise, the other for sunset, and tons of fun in between. We see this event as a great opportunity to talk about faith and the glory of God, share stories, spend time in worship, do fun stuff that no one really gets the chance to do, and bond as a group.

This Friday, November 11th from 6 to 8 PM at Splitz. Bring $10 for Laser Tag, some extra $ for arcade games, and a friend.
