Women\u2019s ministries focused the last 9 months on seeking, sharing and showing grace.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0As we reflect back, we praise God for his goodness to us in the ways He is growing us both personally and corporately.<\/p>\n

With the coming of summer, there are a few exciting announcements for Women’s Ministries.<\/p>\n

1.) We’ll be going to Orlando for the Gospel Coalition Conference\u00a0 June 27th -June 29th. \u00a0If you would like to join us,\u00a0it is not too late!<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 We have a block of rooms reserved in the Hilton, and there are friends still needing roommates. Please join us as thousands of women from all over the country come together to worship, learn, sing, praise, and fellowship around the theme:\u00a0God’s Word–Our Story–Hearing from Nehemiah.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0https:\/\/www.signupforms.com\/registrations\/371<\/a>\u00a0contact Sharon, sstankunas AT gmail.com if you are interested!<\/p>\n

2.) We have new summer book clubs starting soon!<\/p>\n

–> Christina Fischer and Julie Stout will be leading a group through the book\u00a0 Radical<\/strong> by David Platt.<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0The purpose of Radical is to awaken a passion for the glory of God in all nations by encouraging and equipping Christians and churches to accomplish the Great Commission. Please contact\u00a0christina AT gator.net<\/a>\u00a0if you are interested.<\/p>\n

–> A few of us will be reading through\u00a0The Gifts of Imperfection:\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong>by\u00a0Brene Brown<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 This will be an online book club where we will be corresponding via email, with a final “get together” in August. \u00a0Each week we will read 2 chapters and then share our “summary” together on\u00a0Thursdays. \u00a0We\u00a0start\u00a0June 26th<\/strong>\u00a0with the preface and intro to the book<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0 To get a feel for this, check out this TED talk<\/a> by Brene Brown<\/p>\n

Finally we wrapped up the school year in the best way:\u00a0\u00a0fantastic pizza and fellowship. \u00a0 Here\u00a0are a few pictures of our time together:<\/p>\n
