{"id":5145,"date":"2014-01-22T13:28:49","date_gmt":"2014-01-22T18:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christcommunitychurch.com\/blog\/?p=5145"},"modified":"2015-04-22T09:37:15","modified_gmt":"2015-04-22T13:37:15","slug":"register-for-foundations-next-step","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/christcommunitychurch.com\/blog\/2014\/01\/22\/register-for-foundations-next-step\/","title":{"rendered":"Register for Foundations, Next Step"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the next two months, we have two unique opportunities to grow in our involvement in the local church, in our connections with each other, and in our understanding of God&#8217;s word. &#8220;Foundations&#8221; and our &#8220;Next Step Class&#8221; will be offered for\u00a0<strong>6-consecutive weeks, beginning Sunday, January 26 at 6pm* in the sanctuary.<br \/>\n<\/strong>(*Next Step meets at 5:30pm on January 26, then at 6pm for the remainder.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1ZHwA6oEzrLibXp5oWn3L7t2Zk74U3miS3IbBjBEv9Z0\/viewform\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Foundations &#8211; Register Online Here<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong>Once per year, we offer an education series on Sunday night where participants are invited to dig deeply into God&#8217;s word and study a topic together. Last year, we studied the Westminster Confession of Faith (<a title=\"Foundations Is Now Online\" href=\"http:\/\/christcommunitychurch.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/28\/foundations-is-now-online\/\">audio recordings here<\/a>.). This year, Pastor Rob Pendley\u00a0will look at the topic of Renewal.\u00a0<i>What does it look like? How do we participate with God in it? What is the goal of renewal?\u00a0<\/i>and more. Will include emphasis on role of prayer and the Scriptures in spiritual wakefulness.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1J7HqKWClXi02q0OZZFfsTQsfZvv3iVHMETdbMpc14no\/viewform\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Next Step Class &#8211; Register Online Here<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong>Our 6-week Next Step class coincides in part with the Foundations series. The Next Step class is offered periodically to anyone interested in learning more about the church. The class encourages church membership, and it is a prerequisite to joining CCC.
