Alike we are guilty; alike we are justified, forgiven, renewed,\u00a0<i>owing to the measureless mercy of God<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<i><b>view of such mercy<\/b><\/i>, Paul urges his readers \u201cto offer their bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. (Romans 12:1) \u00a0\u00a0The idea is that in the light of the matchless mercy we have received, the least we will want to do is to be pleasing to him.
