When they were in the wilderness, it was much better for the tribes to eat what they called, \u201clight bread,\u201d than for them to be filled with the meat that they had in Egypt, or even the old corn which they enjoyed when they came into Canaan. Manna was suitable food for the climate and for their condition\u2014and the Lord knew it. So the most suitable meat for us in this vale of tears is Christ Jesus. I believe that there is no meat like it in Heaven! And for this world, with its work and its weeping, with its toils and its troubles, its cares and its changes, its wars and its woes, its fears and its frets\u2014there is nothing so suitable as the Lord Jesus\u2014<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Jesus, joy of loving hearts!<br \/>\nYou Fount of life!<br \/>\nYou Light of men!<br \/>\nFrom the best bliss that earth imparts We turn, unfilled, to You again.<br \/>\nWe taste You, O living Bread,<br \/>\nAnd long to feast upon You still!<br \/>\nWe drink of You, the Fountainhead, And thirst our souls from You to fill.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Jesus is all the Bread that you need while you are on your way to Heaven and God!<\/p>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 0;float:none;height:100px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"http:\/\/christcommunitychurch.com\/blog\/2012\/03\/01\/jesus-is-suitable-for-our-needs\/\" send=\"true\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"25\" show_faces=\"true\" font=\"arial\" action=\"recommend\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manna was bread suitable for the wilderness.
