A Call to Worship that employs scripture to\u00a0remind us of\u00a0God&#8217;s initiation of corporate worship. A time of corporate confession. Or,\u00a0a brief prayer or song\u00a0called the <a href=\"http:\/\/christcommunitychurch.com\/blog\/2011\/12\/01\/trisagion\/\">Trisagion<\/a>, which mirrors quite literally this image of God&#8217;s throne room in Revelation 4:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;&#8230;and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. \u00a0And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight. And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, \u00a0\u201cHoly, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, \u00a0\u00a0who was and is and is to come!\u201d (Revelation 4:6-8 ESV)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In our gatherings on Sundays, we are leveraging the simplicity and richness of Fernando Ortega&#8217;s version of the Trisagion\u00a0throughout the Lenten period.
