(Rest &#8230;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>you who have had so far<\/em><br \/>\n<em>to come.) Now nearness satisfies<\/em><br \/>\n<em>the body of God sweetly. Quiet he lies<\/em><br \/>\n<em>whose vigour hurled<\/em><br \/>\n<em>a universe. He sleeps<\/em><br \/>\n<em>whose eyelids have not closed before.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>His breath (so slight it seems<\/em><br \/>\n<em>no breath at all) once ruffled the dark deeps<\/em><br \/>\n<em>to sprout a world.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Charmed by dove&#8217;s voices, the whisper of straw,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>he dreams,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>hearing no music from his other spheres.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Breath, mouth, ears, eyes<\/em><br \/>\n<em>he is curtailed<\/em><br \/>\n<em>who overflowed all skies,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>all years.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Older than eternity, now he<\/em><br \/>\n<em>is new.
