Who is this child he is promising? It is Jesus \u2013 on the cross Satan \u201cstruck his heel.\u201d But by making it possible for us to be forgiven, Jesus \u201ccrushed [Satan\u2019s] head.\u201d Look at what God does for Adam and Eve. This shows us that even though we are sinners, God loves us and wants to take care of us.
